It can also re-import that sme data and write to the EXIF spec on each image. Exifer can export as csv or plain text, so you should be able to manipulate it the way you want. I suppose you could do this if you knew the EXIF spec and were willing to work out a routine to extract information from your EXIF data with Exifer and then re-write it the way you would want it to look. Exifer should be able to do what you want, though it doesn't specifically re-map Nikon data.
